Apply blush underneath your cheekbones to make them stand out more. This will make the hollow of your cheeks look bigger leaving your face looking thinner.

Stay hydrated! Drinking enough water (which 80% of the population doesn't) will not only help with your complexion but also your hair. You face may appear clearer with less break-outs and your hair will be shinier. Your skin elsewhere will also appreciate it!

Eat you veggies! I'm talking fresh veggies. This is the best way to get the most of their natural remedies, aka VITAMINS! Eating the right veggies can help you lose weight, make your skin look brighter, help with acne problems, help your hair and nails be strong and healthy, help eyesight stay strong, and help with dark circles under your eyes.

Since most people don't eat the recommended diet each day, try taking a multi-vitamin. These will help keep your immune system strong and help with your overall appearance. Fish oil is also a good suggestion to take on a regular basis.

If you know you are on the go a lot or just don't like to cook. Adding natural supplements to your diet can help take the place of those missing food groups.

But remember people - food is important - eat right - eat often! They are called supplements, not replacements!

Lightbulb Lather, Rinse, but DON'T Repeat

It's a litany found on every shampoo bottle ever made: "Wet hair; apply shampoo. Lather. Rinse. Repeat."

If your hair feels clean after the first lather and rinse, you don't have to repeat. If your hair is "squeaky clean" after lathering twice, you may be overwashing it, thus washing natural oil out of your hair, leaving it dry, dull and lifeless. And where do you go to put back the moisture? Right. That (expensive) bottle of conditioner!

P. S.: Lathering only once not only saves your hair's moisture, it saves on shampoo, not to mention the water and energy it takes to rinse it out of your hair.

Lightbulb The shampoo switcheroo!

If your favorite shampoo isn't working like it used to, try switching shampoos. Ingredients in Shampoo A may build up in your hair over time, and washing your hair with Shampoo B will wash out the built-up gunk. (Try a sample- or travel-size bottle of Shampoo B before switching to a different "regular" brand so you don't end up with a bathroom full of shampoo bottles! )

Lightbulb Pill Boxes Relieve More than Headaches!

Mrs. 'bro (my wife) came up with this one. She got tired of losing the backs of her tiny pierced earrings...until somebody gave us a handful of those seven-day pill boxes. She now puts those small earrings--with their backs--into each chamber of the pill box. Voila--earrings AND backs in the same place. No more fumbling!
