Remember that you can use this cheat code at the title screen to unlock all songs (saving will be disabled): Red, Yellow, Blue, Red, Red, Blue, Blue, Red, Yellow, Blue

When you create a new character, attributes such as attitude, height, weight, and hometown are permanent.

Be aware that if you play the live version, the name you choose will be showing up on leaderboards if you do well!

In Rock Band, you can purchase new clothing items and gear for your character throughout the game.

Money you get paid is multiplied by the number of stars you receive.

A venues pay $5 per star, B venues $25. C venues pay $80 for theater and $120 for arena.

There are 10 different tiers of fan levels that unlock different venues and songs. One million fans gets you to the highest tier - superstar mode.

City Stars are the number of stars you've earned in a particular city and track your fame there. You can be a legend in Japan, as they say!

Try to warm up your voice a bit by humming or talking for a while. Singing at top volume at first thing in the morning can do damage to your voice.

When there are no notes to sing, as in a song with rap, make any noise as the words pass and you will get credit.

"Score Duel" and "Tug of War" are multiplayer modes where you compete against each other. Score duel is a bit more accurate in general.

When singing, especially at a big ending, be sure to activate overdrive by saying or singing something that is sustained/

You can hold down any colored guitar button at any time and it will not count against you.

Just like in real life - don't worry too much about the money. If you play the band world tour for any length of time, you'll most likely end up with more money than you know what to do with!

The most difficult venue to open in whatever area you start out in will always be your hometown. Therefore, if you want to get to an arena sooner, don't choose a hometown with an arena such as London, New York, Berlin, or LA.

The level your band is playing at is considered by the game to be the LOWEST level of anyone in the group who is playing. So, if you have an expert drummer and a guitarist who is on "easy", the group's activities are rated at "easy", unfortunately...

There are caps to the number of fans you can accumulate at all playing levels other than "expert".

The setlist for any gig on a Band World Tour is determined by two things - your hometown and where you are playing.
